AmmPower is a clean energy company focused on the production of green ammonia. We are active in all facets of green ammonia technology, including the production of green fertilizers, carbon-free shipping fuel, and the ‘cracking’, or moving of green hydrogen as ammonia.
AmmPower is developing proprietary technologies to produce green ammonia and green hydrogen at scale, including the investigation of unique catalytic reactions to bring down costs and to take advantage of carbon credits in the renewable energy space.
AmmPower holds several LOIs with ports in Brazil and the United States, and we are manufacturing our IAMM™ units to create green ammonia for the agricultural industry. We are based in Toronto, Ontario, with a research and manufacturing facility in Southeast Michigan. AmmPower also holds a lithium exploration property in Quebec and an option on the Titan Property located in Northwestern Ontario.

Chief Executive Officer & Executive Chairman of the Board
At Magna, he held key management positions, including Executive Vice President of Engineering and R&D for the Corporation and Division General Manager, where he launched the automotive interior trim business and initiated the development of new technologies resulting in over $1 billion USD in sales. As Vice President of Product development he reported directly to the chairman of the board and founder of the company regarding new products and technologies. Most recently, at Magna, he played a crucial role in locating and identifying new technologies to be used to create future innovative products for the company.
Dr. Benninger also held key management positions outside Magna as the Chief Operating Officer of the North American Operations of the Becker Group, a $1.5 billion privately held automotive interior systems supplier where Gary managed fourteen manufacturing plants and as the Chief Executive Officer of the publically traded Amerityre Corporation, a polyurethane tire developer and manufacturer.
Prior to joining Magna he worked for Ford Motor Company as a product engineering manager, where he was awarded the Society of Plastics Engineers and the Society of the Plastics Industry Grand Awards and for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) as a research scientist in the Energy Conversion and Materials Science Division of the Glenn Research Center. He is the author of numerous technical papers and holds patents on disc brakes, radiators, air conditioning compressor clutches, tires and outdoor equipment. He was a Captain in the U.S. Army Field Artillery. Dr. Benninger holds B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Physics.
Mr. Bharti began his career working in the mining industry, culminating in his role with start-up Avion Gold Corp., a West African gold company that was eventually sold for $300 million to Endeavour Mining. Subsequently, Mr. Bharti founded ARHT Media, a technology company currently trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange, and Future Fertility Inc., an Artificial Intelligence company in the biotech space. Mr. Bharti has been responsible for helping raise over $500 million for various ventures over the past two decades, often serving as a consultant with fundraising and subsequent IPO processes. In addition, Mr. Bharti has helped many companies streamline their business model to increase profitability and sucess.
Mr. Bharti holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm- Honors), from Queens University.
There he specialized in the development of catalytic membrane reactors for efficient ammonia synthesis and decomposition. As Chief Technologist he will lead AmmPower’s development of both novel ammonia producing catalyst technologies as well as hydrogen releasing ammonia dissociation or “cracking” technologies.
Dr. Zhang has published several scientific papers in this field. In a series of Dr. Zhang’s publications presented at the ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering journal and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) annual meetings, he proposed the design of a novel configuration for catalytic membrane reactors for simultaneous hydrogen production and purification from ammonia decomposition.
VP Technology & Government Relations
Dr. Moreno is a Physics Engineer with a PhD in Materials Science and Mechanics from Imperial College London, in the UK. She has almost two decades experience in Finance, Business Development and Technical Research, with a focus on Technology, and Mining and Metals industries. Dr. Moreno held positions as Senior Analyst at Toronto-based investment banks and as an Investment Research Analyst at a global investment research firm. She co-authored a book on mineral processing and project financing and authored a number of advanced industry and technical reports on key strategic/technology minerals. Currently, she is the Managing Director of Tahuti Global Inc., a company that she founded. Tahuti is a successful consulting firm in the areas of Energy, Technology, Minerals, Public Policy, Asset Management and Manufacturing. As a strategic consultant she assists companies and institutional investors with economic and technical assessments of mineral assets and technologies. She also works with government institutions tasked with mineral development, value addition and supply chain development.

Mr. Pattabathula has been involved with a number of major ammonia plant projects from concept to commissioning including:
In each project, Mr. Pattabathula played a key role in the construction of the ammonia plant, from feasibility study, technology evaluation, process design, HAZID/HAZOP (PHA) studies, pre-commissioning and commissioning to accountability and performance guarantees.
Mr. Pattabathula has published more than 130 papers focusing on ammonia, urea process safety, plant incidents, and technology developments and has been recognized as a Google Scholar. Mr. Pattabathula is a chartered professional engineer (CPE) of Engineers Australia, and a registred professional engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). In addition, Ventkat holds a post-graduate degree (M.Tech) in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a certificate from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). Mr. Pattabathula resides in Brisbane, Australia.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Lilla previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Mobex Global for more than three years and was a member of the company’s executive leadership team and strategy council. He was responsible for financial planning and analysis, accounting and reporting, tax, treasury, human resources and information technology. Prior to his time at Mobex Global, he held roles of Vice President of Strategic Finance and Corporate Controller at Joyson Safety Systems, Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Federal-Mogul Powertrain, along with progressive leadership roles at Delphi and KPMG LLP.
Mr. Lilla is a graduate of Michigan State University where he earned a B.A. and M.S. in Accounting and is a certified public accountant.

Previously, Mr. Mascarenas served in various positions at Ford Motor Company progressing to become a Vice Corporate President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In addition, Paul is a Venture Partner with a Detroit based strategic investment firm, Fontinalis Partners and advises a number of start-up and early stage companies. Paul is the chairman of FISITA (UK) Ltd, and served as President for 2014-16. More recently, he served as the Chairman/President of SAE International for the 2019 term.Time At Ford Motor CompanyFrom 1982 to 2014, Paul served in positions of increasing responsibility at Ford Motor Company, progressing to become a Corporate Vice President and Chief Technical Officer. In this role he led Ford’s worldwide research and advanced engineering organization, overseeing the development and implementation of the company’s technology strategy and plans. Paul also chaired Ford’s Technology Advisory Board and established the Palo Alto Research and Innovation Center, leading the company’s vision to provide uncompromised mobility for people around the world.Paul has extensive experience in engineering, product development, management of large capital-intensive projects, and business leadership, with assignments in the UK, Germany and the US. He has also served in a number of business, technology and academic advisory roles. These include the British American Business Council, Magna Technology Advisory Council, the China SAE International Technology Advisory Committee and Oak Ridge National Laboratory Scientific Advisory Council.
Paul spent a decade as a leader in the broadcast and media industry as CTVglobemedia’s Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs. He also held senior positions in public service, including with the Government of Canada as Director of Operations to Prime Minister, Jean Chretien, and as a senior aide to two Premiers of Newfoundland and Labrador. Paul was a Co-Founder and executive vice chairman at Difference Capital Financial and serves on a number of private and public boards. He is currently President of Otterbury Holdings Inc., and is an advisor and deal maker for growth companies in the private and public markets.
